01 HER WORK

Built in the room where women tell the truth.
Across two countries and over twenty-five years of clinical and academic practice, Catherine built her career listening to women describe what their bodies, careers, and relationships were actually doing. What she heard rarely matched what the clinic or workplace were prepared to support.

That gap — between what midlife women carry and what their organizations recognize — is the work. On stage, in advisory rooms, and in the Empowered Women's Circle, she is closing it.

03 HER PRINCIPLES

How she works,
every time.
01
Lead with science.
Every claim, every recommendation, every framework Catherine teaches is grounded in clinical evidence and the lived experience of herself and her patients.
02
Treat the whole person.
Health is more than biology. Catherine's work weaves medicine, leadership, relationships, and identity into a single, coherent story.
03
Make it actionable.
Insight without application is wasted. Audiences leave with concrete tools, not just inspiration.

Dr. Catherine Hansen has spent over 25 years in the room where women tell the truth about their bodies, their careers, and their lives.
04 HER UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE

What she heard in the room changed everything.
As a U.S. board-certified OB/GYN, certified menopause practitioner, and Johns Hopkins-trained Master of Public Health, Dr. Catherine Hansen built her career at the intersection of women's health and human potential. Across two countries and decades of clinical and academic practice, she witnessed something the research confirmed but workplaces ignored: midlife women are not slowing down. They are stepping into the fullness of who they are — and they need the right support to do it.
That insight drove her from the clinic to the keynote stage, and to founding the Empowered Women's Circle — a global community advancing women's health, leadership, and connection across every life stage — and ultimately to her role as Chief Medical Officer at Effica Health, where she continues to bring the full weight of her expertise, experience, and insight to every stage she steps onto.
A RARE PERSPECTIVE
As the wife of Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen — part of the Artemis II crew that made history as the first crewed mission to orbit the moon in over 50 years — Catherine understands what it means to navigate the extraordinary alongside the everyday. To hold immense pressure and profound purpose simultaneously. To show up fully for your mission, your family, and yourself when the stakes are as high as they get.

It is not a metaphor she borrows. It is a life she lives.
On stage, she translates all of it — the science, the clinical experience, the personal stories — into something audiences can immediately use. Women feel seen. Leaders gain tools. Organizations shift.
